TGIF: Take Goods in Friday is our donation event for the Mary House. Every Friday students from grades 6-8 bring in food for the poor. They bring in foods like cereal, jelly, tuna, tomato sauce, soup, and more. So far we have raised 456 food items for September and October.

Fruit Hill Day Service for the Elderly: In this event we raised money for a service program for the elderly. Grades Pre-K-2 brought in a donation for a dress down day, Grades 3-5  played soccer, and grades 6-8 participated in activities such as kickball, foursquare, etc. We raised a total of $1,350 for this program.

Thanksgiving food drive: The school collected 1,200 food items, and the money donations allowed us to purchase twenty-two $25 supermarket gift cards. The food and gift cards will be distributed by Sister Dorothy to families in need in our local community.

Coat Drive: St. Augustine Feinstein Jr. Scholars Student Counsel sponsored a coat drive to benefit the Rhode Island Right to Life located on Smith Street in Providence. 125 items including winter coats, hats, gloves and scarfs were collected.

St. Augustine School has done many fundraisers so far this year for charity. We try to do at least one event every month.
