The Saint Augustine’s Green and Gold basketball game is a tradition going back many years. The game takes place on Friday afternoon during Catholic Schools week. The seventh and eighth grade boys and girls school basketball players are put on two teams and they play an intense basketball game with the entire school cheering them on. The teams were selected by Evan Murray after being voted as the team maker by the eighth grade students. During the game we have blasting music, commentators narrating the game and a half time performance by the Saint Augustine’s school dance team. The Green and Gold game is a great tradition and we hope everyone involved, the players, dancers, commentators, and spectators are safe and have a great time.
